  • Responsibilities

    Our client is seeking a highly qualified **A &P Mechanic **to join a well-established general aviation company and FAA-certified Part 145 Repair Station. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general aviation aircraft, demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, and work well with flight crews, leadership, and fellow technicians.

    This is a full-time , Monday–Friday position offering career stability, growth opportunities, and a family-oriented workplace culture—all in a scenic location just 25 miles from Scranton with easy access to NYC and Philadelphia.

    Base/Locations:

    KMPO – Pocono Mountains Municipal Airport (Tobyhanna, PA)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on general aviation aircraft.
    • Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair airframe and powerplant systems.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
    • Collaborate with flight crews and leadership to ensure aircraft readiness and safety.
    • Ensure all work meets quality standards and company policies.
    • Assist with aircraft movement and coordination with Line Service and FBO operations.
    • Support training and mentoring of junior technicians as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Valid FAA A &P License required.
    • Valid Driver's License required.
    • Applicants must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available for this position.
    • 3+ year s of hands-on experience maintaining general or business aviation aircraft.
    • Familiarity with piston and turbine engines; PT6 experience is a plus.
    • Working knowledge of aircraft such as Piper, Cessna, and Beechcraft.
    • Strong understanding of FAA maintenance procedures and documentation.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
