Aircraft Spruce and Specialty is seeking a detail orientated associate to join our team. The ideal candidate must love working with numbers and enjoy the challenge of deadline driven duties. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Posts customer payments by recording checks and credit card transactions.
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, customer service, and customers.
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment history and credit line.
• Process approved adjustments to accounts as needed.
• Accurately codes payments/credits in accounting system.
• Updates and maintains vendor/customer database as needed.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Associates Degree or equivalent

• 3 yeasr office experience in an accounting role.

• 1 year experience using spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel)

• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to type 50 words per minute; Ability to use ten-key calculator by touch.
• Lifelong Learner; Interested in trying and learning new skills and/or techniques.

Pay rate based on job knowledge, skills and experience.
