Job Description

Aircraft Spruce and Specialty is the largest distributor of aircraft parts and supplies to general aviation . We are seeking an exceptional Marketing Assistant to assist with the execution of our marketing initiatives via market research, vendor relations and project lead for trade events.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect and review new vendor setup information including product specs, POP materials, digital assets, and detailed information related to establishing credit terms.
• Assist with the management of the company’s marketing funnel including but not limited to our social media presence, website content, email marketing activities and advertising channels.
• Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure resources are accurate and current; Coordinate new material creation as needed.
• Support gift card fulfillment and reconciliation.
• Planning and managing trade shows, conferences, events and meetings by identifying, coordinating and assembling requirements.
• Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Works closely with marketing team to ensure both departmental and organizational goals are met or exceeded.
• Continuously updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Manager may assign additional responsibilities.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Associates Degree or equivalent

• 2 years plus office experience in administrative role (marketing preferred)

• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• 1 – 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Use of photoshop, Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML a Plus!!
• Knowledge of online marketing platforms including SEM, SEO, SMM and web development using Word Press.
• Ability to type 60 words per minute.
• Able to prioritize multiple projects and produce results with finite deadlines.
• Lifelong learner; Interested in trying and learning new skills and/or techniques.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Must be able to communicate via telephone and email for up to 2 hours at a time.

• Must be able to withstand on-the-job stress as it related to publishing deadlines.
• Must be able to use computer keyboard, mouse and view computer display for up to 2 hours at a time.
• Must be able to sit for up to 2 hours at a time.
