    Aircraft Spruce & Specialty takes pride in distributing aviation electronics and avionics instrumentation to the general aviation community. We are looking for a sales representative that enjoy being on the phone to join our industry leading team. In this role you will be responsible for the sales to our inbound customers.

    • This is a Monday thru Friday position with occasional Saturdays.  Schedules range from 7a - 5pm daily.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer sales inquiries via telephone and email.
    • Accurately process customer orders according to established department policies and procedures.
    • Identifies revenue opportunities within existing product lines. Suggestive sells and up sells items to increase sales volume.
    • Work with manager and purchasing to acquire specialty items as per customer requests.
    • Documents customer calls via internal ticket system as needed for future reference to maintain an accurate history of customer opportunities.
    • Researches order status, logistics, vendor and product information as needed for resolution of customer inquiries and/or sales disputes.
    • Work closely with supervisor to assist with the continuous process improvement supporting the distribution of accurate information to customers and accurate building product to specifications.
    • Consistently improve product knowledge and understanding in keeping with knowledge gaps and changing business needs via product webinars/live training/brochures/Internet
    • Exceed daily phone metrics as noted by manager (50 plus inbound / 4 hours inbound phone time)
    • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by manager.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • 2 or more years’ experience in telesales sales or support; Commitment to customer satisfaction.
    • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills; second language a plus.
    • Excellent Internet Search Skills
    • Detail oriented with the ability to work proactively and effectively.
    • Ability to prioritize projects and multitask;
    • Experience with the use Microsoft Office or similar applications including good knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word, in a business environment. Experience using ERP systems such as SAP/NetSuite. Type 50 WPM.
    • Lifelong learner and self-starter. Ability to research industry related skills and trends aimed at self-improvement and benefit to department/organization.
