Aircraft Windshield Company is a family owned and operated business looking to add a fabricator to our manufacturing operations. There are full-time opportunities available.

Position Summary:

AWC is searching for a detailed-oriented utility person with ability to handle manufacturing equipment, processes, and operations such as trimming, cleaning, packaging, and shipping. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who can operate effectively with little supervision and who can manage multiple tasks at once without being overwhelmed.

Key Responsibilities and Duties include:

· Ability to work well in a team environment, assisting others as needed with their work or to solve problems.

· Ability to learn job setups in machinery, and demonstration of the ability to make adjustments to take jobs from setup into production.

· Handle and pack product as needed.

· Follow all plant and job-specific safety policies and work procedures, and work in a safe manner.

· You will need to have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

· Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for 8 hour shift durations five days per week, and for longer periods or extra work days when overtime demands require it.

· Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 40 lbs frequently

· Must have range of motion to access all working areas of building and machinery and equipment, including ladders and raised platforms and interior machine areas.

· Must have ability to safely and effective use a large variety of hand and power tools.

· Must have ability to read written and printed production and setup schedules, job order sheets, work instructions, and other work-related documents.

· Must have ability to effectively hear verbal work instructions and other communications from supervisors and co-workers and to verbally communicate instructions and other information to supervisors and co-workers.

Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
