This is a PART TIME (SAT-MON) morning position with hours between 7:30am -4pm. The candidate will also be responsible for opening the desk.
Respond quickly and efficiently to all reservations-related requests made by prospective hotel guests and co-workers.
QUALIFICATIONS/PRE-REQUISITES:
Education
High School diploma or GED; experience in guests services, front desk or related professional area.
Basic Computer Skills- Using computer hardware and software
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must have been with organization for a minimum of six months or one year of proven prior retail experience.
Prior guests service experience
Must enjoy working with the public
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment while maintaining a professional and effective approach to high stress situations.
Possesses basic computer skills with the ability to easily grasp the functionality and concepts of company software.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
Sell tickets for transportation to and from New Orleans Hotels
Compute ticket sales
Answering calls in a prompt and professional manner
Answering all inquiries
Process daily and regular reports as required
Sells tickets, processes ticket changes, creates and books reservations.
Logs in tickets and completes sales reports
Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capabilities, all reasonable requests by management.
