BUSINESS OFFICE SPECIALIST
JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Business Operations Specialist is to review every aspect of company operation for the purpose of improving operational processes, to better serve customers and to improve the efficiency of the companies operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage corporate accounting, contracts as well as business operation systems
Establish and maintain procedures and rules within the company that aids in adhering to the above objective
Review all facets of the business and make improvements in legal/regulatory compliance and efficiency
Propose/execute change to better meet the needs of customers and other departments by improving services offered
Analyze how to improve purchasing, logistics, supply chain as well as information logging processes
Ensure that the company's accounting policies/procedures are maintained and to support with creation of financial reports
Conduct office management including management for the safety of customers and employees
Ensure that expenses are within budget and analyze to find options that further lower expenses
Project management (scheduling, adjustments when delays occur) for special projects that arise in the department
All other tasks that are completed within the administrative department
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Four year degree in business, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken settings
Bilingual Japanese/English preferred but not required
