    THE POSITION:

    The Financial Analyst will partner with and support the CEO, COO and Global Executive Team by developing financial models and scenario analyses to facilitate strategic decision making. The Financial Analyst will own financial modeling, ad hoc business analyses, financial reporting, forecasting and annual budget process for Hong Kong Operations, M&A support, and all reporting for lenders and external investors. 

    Job Responsibilities:

    Financial Modeling 

    • Continue to build, maintain, update and improve the existing Davis College long term financial operating model.
    • Using the information that is available, produce accurate and reliable income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections on both a US GAAP and Statutory accounting standards for multiple entities.
    • Provide financial model sensitivity analyses on various operating scenarios including tuition price, student volume and faculty ratios.
    • Prepare financial models and budgets to assist the New Ventures team in vetting and launching new businesses.
    • Update and monitor the unit economics for each campus. This will involve understanding the variable and fixed costs, key drivers and operating metrics.

    Budgeting, Financial Reporting & Analysis  

    • Update 6-month rolling cash flow projections to ensure adequate cash on hand for Hong Kong activities
    • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and analysis for Davis College Hong Kong
    • Lead budgeting process for Davis College Hong Kong, including reconciliation to the financial model 
    • Reconcile the annual budgets for Davis Global and Davis College Rwanda to the financial model prior to budget approval 
    • Analyze the key financial drivers and metrics vs historical performance, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans and communicate results to the Global Executive Team for decision support, financial model reviews and operational reviews

    Other  

    • Special projects, analysis and financial research as requested by the CEO, COO or other Executive Team members
    • Assist with the setup of an employee stock option plan 
    • Other projects and tasks as assigned

      

    Education & Experience Requirements 

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, MBA or CPA a plus 
    • Minimum of three years of experience in modeling and providing sensitivity analysis
