THERAPEUTIC TRAINING AND SUPPORT WORKER (BILINGUAL)
A Therapeutic Training and Support Worker (TTS) works as part of a team that includes an In-Home Therapist (IHT), for the purpose of treating a youth’s mental health, behavioral and emotional needs, including improving the family’s ability to provide effective support for the youth to promote his/her healthy functioning within the family.
The TTS supports implementation of a treatment plan to assist the youth and family in achieving the goals and objectives of that plan.
The service provided by the TTS includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth’s emotional and mental health needs.
