    UX RESEARCHER

    JOB OVERVIEW   

    We are seeking a skilled User-Experience (UX) Researcher to join our client’s team working with wearables for one of the world’s largest technology companies.

    OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES 

    We are looking for a Qualitative UXR to help improve smartwatch apps and experiences and test concepts for future iterations. You’ll be responsible for:

    ·       Working closely with cross-functional, remote/hybrid team (PM, UX, PgMs, Eng)

    ·       Conducting and analyzing user behavior through user studies; a range of methodologies like interviews, literature review, usability benchmarking, concept testing to answer research questions and triangulate experiments results

    ·       Further developing feedback channels for tracking satisfaction and usability over time 

    ·       Delivering key insights to stakeholders in clear, concise, and compelling way

     

    TOP DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·       Conduct qualitative user research, primarily in-lab usability sessions

    ·       User study moderation

    ·       Administer questionnaires and surveys

    ·       Assist other user researchers with various user research preparation activities

    ·       Literature reviews

    ·       Lab setup & management

    ·       Liaise with participant recruiting teams and participant onboarding

     

    REQUIREMENTS  

    ·      2-4+ years of professional experience (outside of college projects) executing and shaping research studies in ambiguous spaces with the ability to work independently.

    ·      BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

    ·      Experience with research design utilizing various methods (e.g., usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, etc.).

    ·      Relevant product research experience, either in an end-to-end, usability, or generative setting.

     

    NICE TO HAVES 

    ·      Deep working knowledge and demonstrated practice of a wide range of research methodologies, their strengths/weaknesses, and when to apply them in the product life cycle.

    ·      Attention to detail, ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks efficiently.

    ·      Excellent track record on working with designers, engineers, and other team members, a collaborative and innovative spirit is must.

    ·      Excellent written and spoken communication; presentation storytelling skills.

    ·      Experience with user satisfaction, ux heuristics, benchmarking.

    ·      Experience with Product Inclusion.
