Title: Legal Assistant - Care Coordinator
Location: Fully Remote: Central, Pacific, or Mountain time zones
Pay Rate Range: $27.00 - $34.00/ HR W2 + Benefits
We are seeking a Legal Assistant, Care Coordinator to join our team. This will be a fully remote position however we are seeking candidates in the Central, Pacific, or Mountain time zones. As a Care Coordinator, you are an avid problem solver, with a commitment to security and confidentiality. You will provide excellent customer service and learn about the company, its teams and
its resources. You will provide the organizational and analytical skills necessary to ensure that threat assessments are handled in a timely and effective manner. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to support the other teams by keeping them organized and ensuring no details of concerns reported are overlooked.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate the intake process for possible new incidents, creating case summary documents and organizing/tracking summaries in team tracker and in security database.
• Ensure case summary documents are updated as needed, including notes from Council meetings.
• Identify and challenges, formulate a plan, connect with the appropriate teams across HR, Legal, etc. and establish networks of individuals, who can provide additional support and information.
• Assess physical security risk and advise on implementing steps to mitigate the risk to ensure a safe workplace.
• Identify, track and report metrics, assessing trends across cases and performance of project initiatives.
• Look for opportunities to continuously to assist the team with anything big or small while always working to improve processes
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
• Create new Case Summary documents when new cases come in & update existing Case Documents when additional information comes in
• Take notes during intake meetings and Council meetings, then ensure documentation is updated, clear, and easy to read following the meeting.
• Identify opportunities for improvement across cases, ensuring consistency.
Required Skills, Experience, & Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 1-2 years of experience working in an administrative, security, investigative, or legal support role with a focus on customer service
• Skilled with Gmail and Google Drive (Google Docs, Google Sheets); Strong written communication
• Strong organization skills and typing skills
• Team player- collaborative and eager with an inquisitive nature
• Strong critical thinking skills
Desired:
• Professional and equipped to deal with sensitive security/HR matters
• Critical thinking skills: a puzzle-solver who can think deeper about what questions to ask when a new potential concern comes through
• Experience supporting investigations, including criminal, human resources, legal or safety incidents
• Interest in and experience with threat assessment
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
