Job Description

PRIMARY SKILLS: UI DEVELOPMENT, REST API, JAVASCRIPT, REACT/ANGULAR DURATION: 12 MONTHS WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION CONTRACT TYPE: W2 ONLY   RESPONSIBILITIES

• You are a talented Software Engineer who is passionate about code quality, usability, and technology
• You excel at working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver great user experiences
• You are a power web user keeping yourself up-to-date with the latest trends and breakthroughs in web development technology

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a UI developer, responsible for designing complex digital solutions, portal front-end implementation
• Experience with Web product enhancements, Web product development, etc. Strong fundamental Javascript skills
• Practical experience building UI with one or more modern libraries/frameworks like React, Angular or other
• Understanding of REST and ability to build REST APIs with NodeJS.
• Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about writing well tested applications
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setting, including partnering with business analysts, other developers and testers, and implementing solutions related to creative process
• Experience with third-party APIs and Web Services, API Gateways like Apigee.
• Working knowledge of the general web application landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Bachelor's degree, Computer Science or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understanding of container technologies like Docker
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and code management using Git and Jenkins Knowledgeable about AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Cloudfront
• Experience building APIs with Serverless framework
• Not afraid to take on DevOps tasks to improve developer experience and delivery
