· Visiting multiple job sites conducting roof inspections and meet with clients to assess roofing needs, take measurements, and photos to create reports of roof conditions. · Estimating and bidding jobs · Preparing and analyzing proposals, must be able to read blueprints and specifications. · Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors and/or subcontractors, and determining cost-effectiveness. Create value- engineered options to offer cost savings to customers. · Consult with subcontractors, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and create estimates. Estimator will learn and/or have knowledge of the different manufacturer requirements for warranted systems. ·Identify cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and processes of improvement. (Value Engineered proposals) · Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements · Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Estimator must be able to set up a ladder and get on the roof to collect data. Must be able to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs if necessary. · Submit proposals and request material quotes for all projects when necessary. · Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and roofing labor contractors Job Type: Full-time Salary: $44,200.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits:
