    Job Description

    Overview: Working in a fast-paced environment, the Junior Financial Analyst provides key support to the overall financial planning and analysis functions. This position is responsible for various forms of financial analysis and reporting to support managerial and business decision-making. Key Roles and Responsibilities: • Support analytics across all financial and business needs: Projects, Ad-hoc Reporting, Annual Operating Plan, Short- and Long-Term Strategic Planning, Cashflow Forecasting • Summarize and report monthly entity financial performance to Central Finance - Profit/Loss, AR/AP Aging, Cost Management and Control, Cash Position, Financial Ratios. • Aid in the preparation of monthly PowerPoint to be presented to board members and top-level executives • Perform ad-hoc benchmark reporting and deep dive analyses to support business growth strategies • Coordinate with various department heads to collect insight on current and upcoming events that may impact sales or operations • Support annual budget development • Support commercial strategy development Required: • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting • Experience in accounting or financial reporting • Experience in data mining and analytics • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Suite (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) • Experience with ERP Systems (Sage, SAP, and Cognos Controller preferred) • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities • Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong desire for team success Preferred: • Certification in Data Analytics/Data Science • Prior experience in Agriculture and/or Manufacturing Industry • Working knowledge of advanced Excel functions - Index, Match, Lookups, Sumifs • Healthy curiosity for process improvement, automation, and innovation • Highly motivated self-starter • Experience in multinational group - Understanding of Intercompany reporting and transactions • Experience with inventory analysis (weighted average costs). • Experience with manufacturing industry. • Experience with Sales & Operation Planning. • Experience with working capital analysis. ***** [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly) The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $20-$25 hourly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the total benefits package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives.
