    We are looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager at our Trussville store location. This position will oversee all inventory operations at the store level including:

    Receiving new product

    Outbound shipping

    Maintaining inventory levels and accuracy

    Merchandising/floor presentation

    Inventory flow between locations such as store-to-store and warehouse transfers

    Product returns to vendors

    Special orders

    The Assistant Store Manager will also act as the floor leader in support of the Store Manager. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for the preparation and communication of all other necessary needs, ensuring tasks are fulfilled and executed within a timely manner.

    Expectations and Objectives:

    Maintain and organize all inventory storage areas.

    Receive and stage all new inventory accurately and timely; tag when needed.

    Process all special orders, charge-sends, transfers and return-to-vendors' accurately and timely.

    Accurately process and ship out all E-comm and Store Ship-To-Customer orders on schedule.

    Performs scheduled and on demand cycle counts accurately and timely.

    Coordinate all inventory-based needs with the Store Manager. For example, communicating staffing needs to ensure new product is steamed, folded and/or merchandised.

    Daily replenishment of inventory from back stock to the sales floor.

    Ensure all returned product is tagged, steamed, and/or folded to be placed immediately back onto the store floor or sent to the appropriate location.

    Communicate all inventory discrepancies to the operations team, merchandising team, Store Manager, and/or vendors.

    Oversee and communicate location supply needs.

    Work with Store Manager to ensure staff is properly trained, sales floor is covered, tasks are done at proper times, and floor recovering meets company’s expectations.

    All other tasks as required.
