Job Description

Aladdin Rents is accepting applications for part time customer service representatives. These individuals will assist customers in planning events and must have excellent, up to date computer skills.

Customer service representatives will receive incoming phone inquiries from potential customers and convert those inquiries to reservations. They will also meet with customers in our showroom or at our customer’s place of business, home or venue to discuss the details for their event and determine the appropriate rental equipment needed. This position is very detail oriented and our customer service reps must be able multitask and keep track of many events at a time.

Weekday hours 12pm - 5pm, Saturdays 8am - Noon

Many of our large events involve tent rentals. Our representatives must recommend the appropriate size tent as well as assist the customer in choosing table linens, selecting styles of tables and chairs, lighting schemes and other rental options. Reps will also be trained to use our Party CAD software to draw detailed scaled drawings of indoor and outdoor events, tented and non-tented events.

Examples of some of the events this individual will be responsible for coordinating are annual non-profit fundraising events, trade shows, festivals, graduation parties and small to large scale weddings.

The Customer Service Representative must be able to handle numerous details for many orders. This a fast-paced environment and we are team oriented.

On the job training will be provided to learn the following: Becoming familiar with our rental items. Using Party CAD (Event Layout Program). Using our rental software.
