DESCRIPTION: 

Alamo Cafe is currently accepting applications for our kitchen manager position. We are looking for people who are willing to set and achieve the highest standard in all areas of the restaurant business. This includes, but is not limited to, customer satisfaction, employee production and overall excellence of the restaurant. Our ideal candidate will oversee training and development of all kitchen employees. They will need to be able to effectively address the needs of both the customer and the employees. This position will require you to be on your feet anywhere from 8-12 hours per day and up to 50+ hours per week. Our work rotation for managers is 4 days on and 2 days off.  The candidate we are looking for will go through extensive kitchen training.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel
• Have knowledge of and the ability to use a computer
• Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and employees
• Possess exceptional customer service skills
• Have the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Have prior knowledge and experience in training employees to prepare them for their day to day operations
• A minimum of 2 years’ restaurant management experience OR a related degree
• Candidate must show history of job stability- No more than 2 jobs within the last 5 years
• Have applied experience handling OSHA, EEOC and health department matters
