The Cyber Security Analyst will Plan, implement, and operate security measures throughout the organization, working with both technical and business leadership Establish standardized approaches to security controls whenever possible Oversee the cyber awareness training program Expand scope of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to new systems and services Lead vulnerability management and remediation efforts Lead operational aspects of the incident response program Perform investigations of security incidents Provide cybersecurity guidance and support to others throughout the organization Clearly communicate the state of cybersecurity threats, risks, and controls to business leadership and other stakeholders The ideal candidate should havebe Experience in cybersecurity domains, such as asset security, network security, identity, and access management (IAM), cloud security, and security operations. Hands-On experience with as many of the following as possible Endpoint Protection McAfee, Sophos, Bitdefender, Carbon Black, Crowdstrike SIEM Splunk, McAfee Cloud Azure Operating Systems Windows Server, Windows 10, CentOS Frameworks 20 Critical Controls, NIST Cybersecurity Framework Proficiency with PowerShell or Python Ability to communicate complex technical issues to diverse audiences Ability to maintain proficiency with rapidly evolving technologies Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work Ability to work irregular hours or overtime as needed to respond to incidents and perform maintenance Alamo Group's Core Competencies Learning Desire to acquire additional skills to enhance personal growth aptitude to absorb, master and retain new knowledge and the ability to explain and teach acquired skills to others People Relations Willingness and ability to cooperate, work and communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and outside contacts.
