Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Staff Accountant to join our small downtown firm!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Prepare work paper and income tax preparation
• Income tax preparation includes business and individual returns.
• Payroll tax return preparation
• Bank reconciliations and various general ledger account analyses
• Report analysis and findings to the management team

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a 4-year degree in business or accounting or an MBA
• A CPA or CPA candidate a plus.
• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Can work independently
• Self-starter that is able to multi-task
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
