    Job Title: Associate Production Welder/Production Welder

    Pay Rate: A/P Welder 3 $17.25 - $17.97

    A/P Welder 2 $17.97 - $19.25

    A/P Welder 1 $19.25 - $21.39

    Production Welder $21.39 - $25

    Hours of Work: 1st Shift: 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.

    Location: 3200 6th Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98134

    Representation: After 30 days required to become a dues paying or financial core member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local Union No. 104.

    Job Summary:

    Will learn to operate various semi-automatic welding machines. May learn to operate computerized burning table. Extensive material handling. Tack

    Welding sheets.

    Requirements to be considered for position:

    1. Application must be filled out completely by the Applicant.

    3. Must be able to work any shift.

    4. Work overtime when required.

    5. Willing to comply with company rules and policies.

    6. Pass pre-employment drug screen.

    Required Essential Job Skills/Experience:

    1. Able to read tape measure accurately to 1/16".

    2. Certificate from a welding program which includes TIG welding and/or 1 or more recent years of welding experience, including TIG welding.

    3. Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English.

    4. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, up to 100 lbs. occasionally.

    Required Equipment (employee provided)

    1. Welding hood.

    2. Welding gloves.

    3. Safety shoes.

    Required Essential Job Functions/Duties

    1. Operation of semi-automatic TIG, MIG, and plasma welding machines.

    2. Tack welding skills.

    3. Other duties as needed.

    Training Offered

    1. Semi-automatic TIG, MIG, and plasma welding.

    2. Plasma burning machine operation.

    Desirable Job Skills/Experience:

    1. Able to operate a forklift and pendant operated overhead crane.

    2. Able to operate semi-automatic TIG, MIG, and plasma welding machines.
