Location: Albuquerque Institute of Music
Hours: Approximately 33 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 1:30pm-8pm
Overview: The Albuquerque Institute of Music is seeking a competent administrative assistant who is an independent worker and has good computer skills. The successful candidate must be passionate about people and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Handling telephone/email communication and inquiries, including answering the phone, scheduling clients, distributing memos, and sending mass emails.
Maintaining the company's filing system.
Coordinating schedules and appointments.
Collecting payments.
Using content management system to maintain and update the company's website and social media.
Administering the school’s monthly newsletter.
Communicating with present and future customers in a professional, customer satisfaction-driven manner.
Minimal office cleaning (taking out trash and vacuuming).
Fulfilling other tasks as assigned to support the school's ongoing business needs.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Squarespace.
Proficiency in Google, including drive: docs, sheets, forms, gmail, and all options available via Google, and office-related applications.
Proficiency in using scheduling/billing systems and contact list management, standard office equipment.
Understanding of Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) - must know how to schedule posts and create drafts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management capability.
Team working ability.
Reliability, honesty, respect for confidentiality.
