Job Description

Alcoa is currently seeking a graduate (Masters or MBA) intern to join our US Financial Accounting Service (FAS) team in Pittsburgh, PA in summer 2018.

The FAS team is Alcoa's core accounting group for our locations and corporate headquarters. We are accountable for the US company's accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end, FERC, accounts receivable, accounts payable, travel and entertainment services for Alcoa entities across the Alcoa's US businesses including bauxite mining, alumina refining, primary metal smelting, and value-added casthouse products. This internship will allow for exposure to several different departments critical to the general ledger and experience and will be a great opportunity to jump start a career. You will be challenged with learning the Alcoa’s chart of accounts and then applying to different project and initiatives within the FAS organization.

During the assignment, candidates will learn our business processes and will be given mentoring and instruction that will help them apply theory to real-life issues. Candidates will also be exposed to a variety of project-based assignments which will allow them to add value to the company.
