    As a Manufacturing Associate, Injection Molding , you will be trusted to work with Production Technicians and Electro-Mechanics at our Johns Creek, GA Manufacturing Facility!

    In this role, a typical day will include:

    • Installs molding tool plates and troubleshoot the DSMFLEX injection molding process and molded parts.
    • Performs various electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical duties.
    • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
    • Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
    • Operates related equipment, conducts tests, and reports data in the prescribed format.
    • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
    • This position requires initial work in partnership with Engineering and Electromechanics. The candidate must gain knowledge and experience in troubleshooting all DSMFLEX modules.
    • Experience in or knowledge of working with manufacturing processes, and production in a fast-paced environment.
    • Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

    What you’ll bring to Alcon:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.

    Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

    • Injection molding experience preferred.
    • Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

    • Work Hours: Day Shift (H schedule): 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day shift): 2 days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend.
