Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Marketing Manager (reports to president) will independently use specific marketing strategies and media (e.g., digital, ecommerce, branding) to launch and position our products within the pet industry. We seek an experienced professional who will drive our marketing vision, coordinating market plans, create and manage content, and launch programs to create demand and maximize sales of a specific product, product line, or product area both online and in store with our clients.
Key Accountabilities
Understand and apply market dynamics, customer needs, competitor intelligence, and consumer behaviors to identify opportunities for value capture.
Collaborate with product development team to drive innovation by translating outside market and category trends and insights into tangible, value add business opportunities.
Strategize and execute plans to lead new product launches for successful delivery to the market
Manage, grow, and elevate ecommerce channels to drive and maximize revenue
Oversee all digital and online marketing channels including all social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
Drive marketing and brand content for the sales team and communications media to reach a maximum number of customers and prospects.
Develop and lead customer acquisition, brand, market positioning, and external messaging content and strategy
Managing agency or freelance relationship – eval
Collaborate with management to evaluate and modify promotion or advertising programs.
Create and share monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans and KPIs that clearly express goals for each team and how they can be reached.
Help plan, create and produce marketing, advertising and sales promotion materials for all projects to implement marketing strategies and sales objectives.
Provide expert thought leadership in your field
Develop and Launch philanthropic campaigns that can be built into and integrated into our company structure.
Be part of the management team and collaborate on key strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of five years of marketing and branding experience including digital
Passionate about animals
Strong background in digital marketing including experience in podcast growth, webinars, social media, managing paid advertising campaigns, and more
