    Purpose:

    The HR Corporate Recruiter’s primary responsibility is to provide human resources recruiting and staffing of all open positions. The Corporate Recruiter provides expertise and leads int the entire hiring cycle, including recruiting, interviewing when necessary, reference checking, and communicating verbal and written offers. The goal is to attract from our candidates’ pool, gain competitive advantage and fuel the company’s growth.

    The Corporate Recruiter is responsible to provide dedicated HR Generalist recruiting support to field management and staff in all the assigned districts. Under direction of the Director of HR and VP of Store Operations, the Corporate Recruiter is the key contact in providing all HR recruiting services. These services include interpretation of company policies and procedures, facilitating district level communications, monitoring all open positions and placement requirements. Identifying talented experienced candidates to the matched job descriptions, coordinate with District Managers and Store Managers on recruiting selection and onboarding new staff.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Interprets company policy and procedures accurately and consistently to ensure alignment with management to ensure clear two-way communication for staffing resolutions. Ensures that employment hiring practices adhere to client policies and/or applicable employment laws to effectively manage company risk.

    2. Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organizational needs and objectives. Manages the communication, execution and implementation of the company’s overall recruiting strategies with the VP of Operations, Director of Human Resources and the HR Department personnel and assigned District Managers and Store Managers.

    3. Develops plans for sourcing appropriate candidates, conducting the interview process if necessary, while maintaining a low cost per hire. Also determines applicant requirements by studying and maintaining updated job descriptions.

    4. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, non-profits, job fairs, social media and any other recruiting source opportunities to benefit the success of the hiring process. Assists to meet and develop corporate goals by minimizing the exposure of employee turnover. Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”.

    5. Improve organization’s attractiveness by recommending new hiring policies and practices, monitoring open positions, job offers and closing personnel requisition forms. Provides hiring support to onboarding employees. Balance labor needs with budgetary requirements associated with Corporate Employment Policies.

    6. Identifies and guides the development of internal talent for key jobs company-wide. Assists the Training Specialist with the company’s mentoring program and the promotions of qualified individuals. Supports in the Corporate Succession Planning process.

    7. Partners with HR Assistants to facilitate applicant to associate transition and hiring practices, follow up and documentation.

    8. Coordinates necessary HR hiring analysis, audits and reports in a professional manner to monitor employee hiring development, turn over and relations with oversight by the Director of HR.

    9. Refers all hiring issues and non-standard questions or concerns to the Director of HR.

    10. Performs miscellaneous HR job-related duties as assigned.

    11. Processes, monitors and follows up with our background/drug test service provider regarding the results for our candidates, and communicates with management and the candidate if the process of adverse action will be taken.

    Essential Job Skills and Functions:

    • Bi-lingual English Spanish fluency in speaking, reading, and writing preferred.

    • Knowledge in Recruitment and Sourcing in identifying quality candidates for placement.

    • Knowledge in Social Media Recruiting through platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Instagram.

    • Ability to research, source and create recruitment techniques to fast track fulfillment of open positions.

    • Bachelor’s Degree/Certification in Human Resources or related field strongly preferred.

    • Familiarity and abilities to effectively and efficiently use Microsoft Office computer skills in Word, Excel, and Power Point.

    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required as well as the ability to conduct a high level of professionalism.

    • Phone Skills, Interviewing Skills, People Skills, Supports Diversity, Employment Law, Results Driven, Organization, Multi-Tasking, Project Management and Good Decision Making Skills.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist or recruiting experience, including communications, coaching and counseling, compensation administration and employee relations.

    • Prior experience in HR hiring practices, staffing and/or recruiting services.

    • Prior recruitment/staffing experience in the retail environment is preferred.

    • Familiarity with HR databases (ADP), applicant tracking systems (ATS) [iCIMS] and CMS.

    Certifications/Licenses:

    • PHR or SPHR certification preferred but not required.
