    The Content Manager will lead all content between the team and its audiences including website, email communications, and social media and will be responsible for bringing the brand to life by engaging the fan base.

    Responsibilities:

    • Align the communications and content activities to the overall goals of the organization
    • Lead the social media engagement for social profiles including posts, strategy, integration with other platforms and consistency in voice and brand for various audiences
    • Responsible for creating compelling digital content including but not limited to blogging, website updates, social media posts (image and video), and contests
    • Manage and implement all website updates and content creation through SportsEngine
    • Maintain an online content calendar and content themes to prioritize posts, email communications and updates to audiences and the best times to engage them
    • Track and provide monthly reports all digital engagement and media impressions using various online tools and similar
    • Maintain a library of images, video and other assets for digital use in coordination with Marketing Manager
    • Work with coworkers to achieve the objectives of the sales, marketing, communications, and soccer ops departments
    • Edit digital templates and images for group ticket sales and database group marketing for email or website distribution
    • Identify and recommend new platforms or social profiles as trends and technology evolve
    • Assist VP of Marketing and Communications on training players, front office and coaches towards the use of social media

    Game Day Responsibilities:

    • Lead all match day online engagement including but not limited to: live social posts from the event, updates on player status, scores, trivia, sponsor activation, contests, pre/post-game reports on website
    • Supervise game day photographers, provide shot lists and ensure images are uploaded

    Education/Experience/Abilities

    • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, online content creation, blogging, social media, inbound marketing, e-commerce and/or digital design or related experience
    • In-depth knowledge of American soccer, European Football and/or World Cup including but not limited to key players, leagues, clubs, and industry developments
    • Excellent writing skills including SEO copywriting and blogging
    • Expert understanding and use of social media including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, video, and image sharing sites
    • Must be able to build and maintain relationships with online communities
    • Must have an in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Google Analytics; experience with WordPress (or similar open-source CRM), Mail Chimp (or similar email communications platform); Adobe Suite and social media project software (e.g. Hootsuite)
    • Photography and video editing experience a plus but not required
    • Experience building, analyzing and converting databases a plus but not required
    • Must be highly organized and ability to multi-task
    • Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral
    • Actively participate in club meetings and training
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Creative problem-solving skills
    • Capable of working extended hours such as holidays, overtime, weekends and nights; ability to travel
