    Job Description

    ABOUT THE COMPANY: Alden Group Renewable Energy’s new facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma is positioned to provide sustainable solutions for burgeoning volumes of byproducts that adversely impact the environment by congesting processing facilities and municipal wastewater treatment operations. After processing by our extraction system, the purified oils can be sold as feedstock to the growing renewable energy industry. For our suppliers, the recycle, recovery and reuse of byproducts achieves sustainable, economic and ecological benefits.

     

    POSITION SUMMARY: Alden Group Renewable Energy is seeking an Office Manager to provide support to our customers and Tulsa facility team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced office environment, typically as an administrative or office assistant. The Office Manager’s responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

    •               • Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls.

    •               • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the Tulsa office.

    •               • Manage Tulsa location accounts payable & receivables.

    •               • Compile vendor qualification packages.

    •               • Assist Plant Manager with payroll activities.

    •               • Manage office supplies and place orders as necessary.

    •               • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail.

    •               • Develop office policies & procedures and ensure they are implemented appropriately.

    •               • Assist with office layout, assignments and moves.

    •               • Assist with maintaining IT infrastructure .

    •               • Manage office budget.

    •               • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements.

    •               • Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research as requested, and creating reports.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    •               • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Four years relevant administrative / office management experience can be substituted for a degree.

    •               • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative / office management role.

     

    COMPETENCIES:

    •               • Strong organizational & time-management skills and the ability to prioritize.

    •               • Must have exceptional attention to detail

    •               • Must be a self-starter and driven to succeed.

    •               • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    •               • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

    •               • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with Microsoft Teams preferred.
