    Internship Job Description Overview Alderman & Company is looking for a 1st year MBA candidate for a part time Internship. This is an unpaid position. For this remote part time internship, the ideal candidate is a student looking to start/advance their career in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Ideal candidates will have i) an outstanding record for academic achievement, ii) a good understanding of accounting, and iii) strong skills in Powerpoint and Excel. No prior M&A experience is required. Job Description The Intern Associate will work remotely on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions in the middle market of the Aerospace and Defense Industry. You will work with a talented, dedicated staff of professionals who will give you broad exposure to the many different aspects and issues relating to M&A. Your specific tasks will include helping with: i) creating financial models in Excel, ii) conducting and organizing due diligence activities, iii) drafting Powerpoint presentations for use in pitching for new mandates and engagement Confidential Information Memoranda, and iv) other activities relating to marketing and deal processing. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience is not a requirement for this position.
