WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Our core technologies are node.js, React, Apollo Server, Sequelize ORM, Postgres, OpenTSDB, Docker, and Ansible/Terraform.  We host on AWS. 

• Manage our existing configuration in Ansible and Terraform
• Build out automation to manage our infrastructure and software deployment
• Build and maintain highly available systems
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to provide predictive analytics and minimize MTTD and MTTR
• Develop operational best practices to help our developers ship resilient, reliable services
• Implement a CI (continuous integration) pipeline

WHAT SKILLS WILL YOU NEED?

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong systems administration experience in Linux environments, specifically CentOS/RedHat
• Demonstrated expertise in:
  • AWS infrastructure implementation and management (EC2, IAM, RDS, Route53)
  • Ansible, Terraform, CircleCI, or similar technologies
  • Logging and monitoring systems design and implementation
• BSCS or equivalent experience
• Strong learning/teaching orientation.  We succeed or fail as a team!
• Low ego.  This is all about our customers and our mutual success, not about individual success.
• US Citizen or Green Card only.  We're sorry, but we don't have the resources to process work visa transfers at this time.

Important Skills

• Experience with predictive analytics
• Expertise in node.js and related technologies
• Infosec background (and how AWS implements security)

Nice To Have

• Experience with Kong API Gateway
• Experience with Elastic products (filebeat, metricbeat, and Kibana)
• Experience deploying Javascript based applications (PM2, Babel, and relevant technologies)
• Relevant AWS certifications
