Alembic is a stealth phase startup dedicated to streamlining the complexities of marketing across multiple platforms for enterprise and mid-market users, building a single portal to coordinate and quantify campaigns across multiple channels. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Our core technologies are node.js, React, Apollo Server, Sequelize ORM, Postgres, OpenTSDB, Docker, and Ansible/Terraform.  We host on AWS. 

• Investigate user needs and testing
• Develop wireframes and task flows based on user needs with annotations in Figma
• Document and hand off wireframes and task flows to engineering in tickets
• Collaborate with developers to create intuitive, user-friendly services and APIs\

• You understand our customers' business requirements and deliver responsive, high-quality UX designs.

WHAT SKILLS WILL YOU NEED?

• Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Creating personas through user research and data
  • Defining, testing, and iterating interaction models
  • User empathy - quickly understanding end-user needs, with the ability to demonstrate your understanding to their satisfaction.
  • “Design System” tools like Figma, Sketch, or Zeplin
• Strong portfolio of UX and / or design projects
• BSc in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong learning/teaching orientation.  We succeed or fail as a team!
• Low ego.  This is all about our customers and our mutual success, not about individual success.

IMPORTANT SKILLS:

• Product/Project management experience
• Demonstrated creative and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated ability to understand business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences

NICE TO HAVE:

• HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and React knowledge
