Business Development Manager (Grow Light)

The Business Development Manager will be a key catalyst for Evio Grow's success and expansion. The Business Development Manager is responsible for launching and growing the company's sales with hydroponic wholesalers and retailers, and commercial cannabis cultivators.
Aggressively grow sales by making sales calls to hydro shops and wholesalers, growers, and specifiers of grow lights
Identify new sales opportunities and aggressively pursue them
Explore partnerships with growers to develop controlled test results, testimonials, case studies, and success stories
Build rapport and cultivate relationships with horticulture wholesalers, hyrdro shops, and growers
Deliver sales presentations, value-propositions, and product demonstrations to decision-makers and influencers to scale growth quickly
Utilize Salesforce (CRM) to log all lead/account activity, opportunities
Log and followup on opportunities on a regular basis. Monitor pipeline and leads via Salesforce (CRM) on a regular basis
Explore and evaluate leveraging other sales reps or agencies to go to market
Research legal states. Generate and farm leads through online research. Keep up to date on hot markets and opportunities with potential for growth
Keep up with cannabis legalization legislation and anticipate future legal states
Work in conjunction with the marketing department to bolster social media and website content, leveraging success stories and testimonials from customers
Utilize different means to achieve sales, including social media and online marketing
Provide feedback to marketing to improve content creation, social media, and sales/marketing collateral
Travel territory with approved plan and itinerary per company travel policy
Analyze and report sales results, forecasts, market conditions, competition and trends

Experience and knowledge of Hydroponic/Cannabis industry preferred
Min. 3-5 years experience in sales, marketing, or business development
