    The Responsibilities include duties related to the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of software for Army missile systems.  Review of prime contractor software and requirements changes for software safety compliance and testability.  Independent Software Safety Assessment, releasability assessment, coordination of test plans/execution/analysis to support development of independent software safety assessment metrics and reports.  Integration of results from the IV&V team’s FQT and Software Safety reviews and generation of artifacts to support Army Software Releases.  Support Software System Safety Technical Review Panels (SSSTRPs) and Software Safety Integrated Product Management Team (SSIPMT) working groups.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience with IV&V, software safety evaluation, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) software documentation releasability evaluation, testing, simulation or development of software for Army missile systems.
    • Familiarity with modern software languages; C, C++, C#, Ada.
    • Familiarity with MIL STDs related to Software Safety.

    Required Skills

    • Current DoD security Clearance.
    • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or other related discipline.
    • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Software Safety Assessment of DoD weapons system evaluation, testing or simulation.

    Required Experience

    • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a clearance.
