    JOB SUMMARY

    Alexander Forrest Investments is looking to hire an intelligent and hard-working, individual to join our team and assist with various accounting tasks vital to the continued success of our properties across the country! Basic bookkeeping knowledge is required, and task specific training will be provided. Relevant work experience as well as an educational background in the accounting field is also preferred.

    THE INDIVIDUAL CHOSEN FOR THIS ROLE WE BE REQUIRED TO WORK OUT OF AFI'S CORPORATE OFFICE IN COLUMBIA, MO. REGULAR OFFICE HOURS ARE 8AM-5PM.

    The responsibilities that are listed below are not all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the type of responsibilities normally performed by a member of the Accounting Team:

    JOB DUTIES

    • Accounting ticket management/resolution
    • Bookkeeping/Data entry
    • Execution of accounts payable workflow
    • Bank statement reconciliation
    • Preparation of various financial reports for Property Owners
    • Assist accounting team to resolve various vendor issues
    • Utility activation at various properties

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must have at least two years of applicable work experience or relevant college coursework
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Able to maintain a collaborative team attitude
    • List of 2-3 professional references
