    You will be part of an expert team dedicated to excellent software delivery and superior client support. This position is located on-site in the San Diego, CA area. You will report directly to the Program Manager and perform work for the client's Program Manager.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position will assist in providing logistics management services and installations services in support of long distance, tactical, strategic communications and navigation systems for ships at sea and facilities ashore and is responsible for the acquisition, integration, delivery, sustainment and support of all communications and navigation systems.

    You will:

    · Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.

    · Coordinate changes to computer databases.

    · Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

    · Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    · Architecture, design, development, requirements analysis, data flow, network design/implementation, testing, and documentation for the system.

    · Analyze user requirements, system architecture, system requirements specifications, provide database engineering expertise, develop system architecture and system design documentation.

    · Support the development of system configuration documentation, including designs for capacity and performance planning and will perform engineering activities, including risk assessments and analyses of alternatives for a variety of system related issues and concerns.

    · Provide solutions to challenging technical problems in distributed data replication, concurrent data access and high availability.

    · Secret Clearance

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    · Bachelors Degree

    · Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology or as a member of an agile team

    · Must have experience as a Database Administrator to include experience with tasks such as data migration, data replication, user administration, backup and recovery, and general DBA tasks.
