    Job Summary

    As a Bookkeeper, you will use your attention to detail to record and process transactions and make sure invoices are processed efficiently and effectively ensuring that transactions are recorded in a timely accurate manner. With your experience as a Bookkeeper, you will assist in designing and implementing new business procedures, under management direction, as required to produce efficient and effective recordation while supporting the safeguarding of company assets.

    Responsibilities

    Record, reconcile, prepare, and analyze financial information and reports of Alfa’s property and casualty companies and Alfa Agency.

    Processing invoices efficiently and effectively ensuring that transactions are recorded in a timely accurate manner.

    Record/process transactions after obtaining an understanding of company policies and account classifications for simple to moderately complex classes of transactions.

    Assist in designing and implementing new business procedures, under management direction, as required to produce efficient and effective recordation while supporting the safeguarding of company assets.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Minimum of two years of bookkeeping-related experience.

    Proficient in Microsoft Excel preferred.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

    Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
