We're seeking after school help with our children Monday through Friday 2:30pm-6:30pm beginning in September in Park Slope. We have three (6, 4, and 2) but this role will mostly focus on the younger two. The gig will include: -picking up the 4-year-old and 2-year-old from their preschool -taking them to playdates, playgrounds, and activities -some food prep (snacks and simple dinners) -light cleaning related to the kids (laundry, dishes, tidying etc) The ideal person for this is warm, caring, patient, and kind. They are proactive and engaging with kids, a good communicator, dependable and organized, and able to schedule and manage logistics. They are also vaccinated against covid (as are we). We deeply respect people who work with and support children, and are excited to find someone wonderful to help care for our kids. Bonus if you know Park Slope; no worries if you don't! The hours above are the base; we would love someone who is willing and eager to do more-later evenings, some weekend work, full days when the kids are out of school for non-federal holidays or remote learning, etc.
