    SUMMARY 

    The Operations Analyst's primary responsibilities will be focused on supporting the Asset Management & Development teams within the company. This role will assist the Asset Manager with capital projects, investor reporting, property level oversight, and strategic initiatives. The Operations Analyst will also be heavily involved in the implementation of new systems, reporting, the development and maintenance of spreadsheets to drive processes, and regular audits.

    This is a full-time exempt position. This person will report to the corporate office and properties San Francisco, California. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist Asset with project development, approval and implementation of capital and other major projects at buildings
    • Maintain current certifications and Service Agreements at properties
    • Communicate with Asset Managers regarding operational issues, proposals, work orders, Resident Managers, etc.
    • Analyze financials, including variance reports and market studies
    • Assist in the preparation and review of operating budgets and quarterly reforecasts 
    • Develop and maintain spreadsheets in Excel and train teams in use
    • Prepare and audit Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Reports
    • Identify opportunities for developing sustainable, efficient processes
    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
    • Responsible for timely completion of lender required questionnaires and other reporting requirements
    • Will review all vendor invoices to assure that they are coded and processed in a timely manner.
    • Assist in payment schedule and reconciliation of taxes
    • Perform property inspections as needed to ensure company standards are maintained and issues are corrected in a timely manner
    • Assist with day to day activities at properties on an as needed basis. 
    • Perform other related duties and assignments as required
    • Comply with local and federal Fair Housing Standards

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong analytical and organizational skills
    • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Extremely detail-oriented and methodical, with the ability to multitask while meeting deadlines
    • Proficient in or willing and able to learn Microsoft Excel
    • Can clearly communicate ideas to those without a background in finance
    • Must work well under pressure and with concurrent projects 
    • Experience in property management a plus but not required

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3.5 GPA or above
    • 2-3 years' experience

    LOCATION

    The Analyst will be stationed at a Corporate Office but, will be required to assist onsite on an as needed basis.  Access to computer station/workspace at each project location will also be provided.  This job may require occasional travel to the residential properties within their portfolio.
