We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Office Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role, involving three days in our West Palm Beach office and two days working remotely. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our Family Office Division, contributing to the expansion of Client Account Services. This position requires a hands-on approach, covering a spectrum of responsibilities including Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) for high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
1\. Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes for high-net-worth individuals within the family office clients.
2\. Oversee bill pay activities and proactively follow up on client's properties, such as Airbnb, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
3\. Act as a key liaison between clients and various stakeholders, addressing financial queries and concerns.
4\. Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure seamless coordination within the Family Office Division.
5\. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, producing regular reports for clients.
6\. Take charge of financial transactions related to diverse portfolios of high-net-worth individuals.
7\. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications:
1\. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2\. 5-10 years of relevant experience in a Controller role, preferably within a family office setting.
3\. Proficient in handling both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable for high-net-worth individuals.
4\. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an acute attention to detail.
5\. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining client relationships.
6\. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
7\. Familiarity with financial software and tools.
8\. Preferably located in West Palm Beach, but Ft Lauderdale is acceptable.
