    A well-establisted, Non-Profit is looking for a CFO to join their team. The CFO is expected to be a strategic thinker, passionate about fostering a positive culture and making a meaningful impact, and possessing strong leadership skills in both personnel and industry realms. The role encompasses responsibilities such as overall financial modeling, and projections, overseeing funding/grant optimization, and ensuring sustained success.

    The CFO is the primary financial advisor to the CEO and executive team for strategic planning purposes. While taking on this advisory role, the individual is also expected to actively engage in operational aspects, being willing to immerse themselves in various areas to unlock potential. Serving as the key liaison and manager for the administration and Finance Department to the entire organization, the CFO is charged with aligning financial resources with the organization's mission and vision. Furthermore, they are tasked with identifying concrete ways to maximize free cash flow and effectively utilize agency assets and staff.

    Essential duties and responsibilities include:

    \- Collaborating with Executives to develop, implement, and measure financial progress on strategic business plans and operating initiatives.

    \- Providing advice to the CEO and senior leadership team on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.

    \- Serving as the liaison to the board, finance, and audit committee members through effective communication and presentation of critical financial matters at the select board of directors and finance committee meetings.

    \- Building relationships with key partners, such as banks, donors, vendors, outside consultants, and other financial institutions.

    \- Leading and developing a team of finance professionals responsible for financial reporting, planning, and analysis for the agency.

    \- Overseeing the development and maintenance of short and long-range financial models.

    Competencies required for success in this role include accountability, analytical skills, business acumen, cost consciousness, and an understanding of diverse stakeholder backgrounds and government funding mechanisms.

    This CFO plays a crucial role in ensuring the fiscal aspects of the organization's operations are scalable for the expected growth trajectory.

    Non-Profit and Grant experience is required for this position
