    Position Overview:

    The Director of the Client Accounting Services Department plays a key role in establishing, implementing, and enforcing departmental policies and procedures. This position is responsible for ensuring the department's efficient and timely execution of bookkeeping, compiled financial statements, and payroll-related projects for the firm's clients.

    Job Summary:

    Moreover, the candidate will assume leadership of the Client Accounting Service Department for the firm and will oversee various staff mentoring and management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess:

    \- A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.

    \- Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

    \- Proficiency in QuickBooks online and desktop applications.

    \- Strong organizational skills.

    \- A friendly and collaborative personality, with a team-oriented approach.

    \- A forward-thinking mindset, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement, learning, and growth.

    \- A desire and capability to train, mentor, lead, and foster the development of staff.

    Responsibilities:

    \- Review and assess monthly/quarterly financial statements.

    \- Mentor and support staff to foster professional development.

    \- Manage projects to ensure timely readiness and completion.

    \- Oversee departmental staff to ensure project and task completion within deadlines.

    \- Monitor and evaluate accounting systems and procedures to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

    \- Develop and implement internal project budgets, with accountability for the department meeting these budgets.

    Qualifications:

    \- A minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.

    \- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

    \- Familiarity with QuickBooks online and desktop.
