    Position Summary:

    The Audit Senior or Manager is responsible for compliance, research, and special projects across all audit areas. Additionally, they will supervise both direct and indirect staff.

     

    Responsibilities of the Audit Senior or Manager:

    \- Develop a thorough understanding of the client's business.

    \- Assist in coordinating, organizing, and scheduling engagements to meet deadlines.

    \- Contribute to the development of audit strategies and the assessment of audit risks.

    \- Manage multiple audit or review engagements.

    \- Review financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

    \- Examine engagement work papers.

    \- Research accounting issues and provide solutions.

    \- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing issues to Senior Managers and Partners.

    \- Assist in planning and managing engagements to ensure timely completion.

    \- Develop expertise in assigned niches.

    \- Contribute to special projects as assigned.

    \- Participate in peer review planning and compliance.

    \- Identify opportunities to offer additional services to existing clients.

    \- Limited travel required.

    \- Supervise and track client deliverables and deadlines.

     

    Requirements:

    \- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.

    \- Active CPA license or CPA candidate preferred.

    \- Public accounting experience is mandatory.

    \- Proficiency in GAAP research (RIA, PPC).

    \- Outgoing and friendly personality with strong team collaboration skills.

    \- Forward-thinking mindset, always seeking opportunities for improvement, learning, and growth.

    \- Willingness and ability to train, mentor, lead, and develop staff members.
