Lead the technical migration of austintexas.gov from Drupal 7 to 8
Build and maintain custom Drupal 8 themes to support accessibility and responsive design
Build new frontend and backend features to support advanced or unique functionality
Configure, tune, and monitor Drupal servers
Integrate internal and third-party APIs, Drupal plugins, and modules
Use Drush to automate and simplify Drupal site management
Participate in peer quality assurance testing and code reviews
What are we looking for?
3 to 5 years of professional experience in development, administration, custom module development, configuration management/features, and theming for medium to large Drupal sites
Experience leading the migration of Drupal websites from Drupal 7 to 8
Strong experience in coding and debugging in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
Understanding of and experience with continuous delivery, continuous integration testing, and cloud platforms
Ability to engage with a wide range of digital specialists and non-technical partners to define the best approaches to a problem
