Summary/Objective: As a caseworker with All About Ability, you will deliver exceptional service and support while teaching Independent Living Skills (ILS) to the individuals we serve. In this role, you will assist and support young adults with intellectual, processing, learning, and developmental struggles by consistently and objectively analyzing our clients' current skills and needs and making determinations on where they need additional experience, training, or education. You will be responsible for attending regular home or group home visits with clients, transporting clients to assigned locations, and reporting and tracking the client's progress. You will have the opportunity to work independently with your clients and develop your own schedule. Responsibilities: Directly deliver individual and group learning experiences to assist each consumer served in reaching his/her IPP objective(s) Make assessments to the number of service clients need Maintain a caseload of clients and ensure client progress Transport clients to relevant locations during scheduled shift time Deliver 1:1 services for individuals based on the ILS program curriculum Maintain data regarding client progress, including binder upkeep, report writing, and shift note tracking Coordinate with senior management and report on ongoing cases and new assignments Attend staff meetings and training as required All About Ability, LLC will not assign additional duties to the direct care staff from the above-noted functions during hours when direct service is provided. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required Preferred Bachelor's degree in social services, sociology, or psychology strongly preferred Preferred At least 1 year of relevant experience in education or social services Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to drive any of the vehicles purchased and used by All About Ability Intermediate PC skills, including email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. required Ability to quickly learn and manage databases Must be willing and able to get CPR/First Aid certification within one year of the first day of employment Must be willing to take and have on file a current TB test with the administration within 30 days of the first day of employment.
