Primary Responsibilities
Provide the planning, budgeting, goals, objectives and development of the Construction Division
Lead a team of project managers, coordinator, estimators, technicians, and cabinet division, to successfully manage construction projects within planned schedule and within budget
Ensure clear two-way communication with owner, managers, team members, property owners, and clients
Ensure customer and client satisfaction
Oversee all project estimating, job costing, and quality control for jobsites and files
Oversee subcontractor and in-house technician schedules and budgets
Oversee materials purchase, budgets, storage, and delivery to jobsites
Oversee and approve the creation, execution, and flow of all project documentation
Assure that communication is consistent, accurate, and documented in company operations’ software
Prepare various reports for company ownership and senior management (Job Profitability, Job Cost, Job Schedule, Job Audit, Production, etc.)
Ensure job processes and procedures are followed, including safety training and guidelines
Assist with human resources with training functions, including recruiting, hiring, training, and development of Construction Division team members, as necessary
Ability to manage and monitor multiple tasks
Position Requirements
3+ years management experience in the Construction industry
Effective written and oral communication
Intermediate math skills
High school diploma/GED, college degree preferred
Xactimate proficiency and certification a plus
Certified General Contractor License a plus (CRC, CBC, CGC)
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
