Looking for smiling, compassionate, and committed technician for our small animal practice. Proficient skills are required for this full-time position, including pet restraint, pedicures, anal sac expression, ear cleaning, bathing, blood draws, intravenous catheter placement, anesthesia/surgical preparation, and recovery patient monitoring, dental cleaning and radiography, in house laboratory, maintain and use in house laboratory machines, ability to perform cytology (skin and ear), perform urinalysis, skin scraping, clean and pack surgical instruments, ability to position for digital radiographs, computer date input for pets medical records, input into computer follow up and reminders. Candidate must have good communications skills: able to go over a treatment plan, a surgical discharge, medications prescribed, express honest concern and care for the clients and their pets. Minimum 3-year experience working as a Veterinary Technician. Certification or certification eligible beneficial. Competitive salary and benefits for the right person.
