We are seeking to hire a self-motivated, experienced REGISTERED DIETITIAN to join our team for a local Skilled Nursing Facility. The primary purpose of this role is to provide nutritional care which will result in the optimal health and nutritional status of our beloved residents. This is a Full Time, direct hire position. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Evaluate the nutritional care of residents and document in the medical record.
• Observe and assess residents to monitor food acceptance and nutritional status.
• Properly use the company formulary; recommends dietary interventions according to the status of the resident.
• Manage the menu within the facility budget and e valuates changes to the facility’s menus for nutritional adequacy.
• Evaluate and monitor the operations of the Dietary Department to assure the provision of adequate, high quality food.
• Participate in MDS, PPS and Walking Rounds for identified high risk residents.
• Provide monthly reviews and documentation for residents with weight loss, receiving enteral nutrition, wound care and others considered at high risk.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
• Must meet all license, certification, training or credentials as required by the State.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
