    We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced REGIONAL NURSING FACILITY ADMINISTRATOR for 2 local Skilled Nursing Facilities, Northgate Post Acute Care and Northvine Post Acute Care. If you have a passion for healthcare, this is the right opportunity for you!

    JOB DUTIES:

    ·       Assure that the facility and Quality Assurance Program is in compliance with and has knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and receives continuing certification from all statutory and regulatory agencies

    ·       Approve effective and efficient staffing to meet the needs of patients, while meeting regulations. 

    ·       Promote quality management program through education and involvement of staff and patients in outcomes as well as overall responsibility to achieve corporate goals for quality.

    ·       Maintain effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving payroll and counseling and disciplining employees.

    ·       Maintain collaborative working relationship with Medical Director and physicians

    ·       Continuously monitor to ensure that a safe and sanitary physical environment is maintained throughout the facility; that all equipment is maintained and functioning properly, and adequate, appropriate inventory levels of all supplies are available and used correctly

    ·       They will lead all departments and multidisciplinary teams with efficiency

    ·       Leading and Guiding the department heads to ensure residents receive excellent care 

    ·       Collaborating with the Marketing Director to increase facility census with appropriate ratio mix of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and managed care and private

    ·       Partnering with DON to assure staffing requirements are met to achieve daily PPD

    ·       Working with Infection Preventionist to ensure regulations are followed

    ·       Establishing a positive culture of employee engagement

    ·       Monitoring and maintaining the facility operational budget

    ·       Requiring high patient satisfaction scores

    ·       Minimizing patient falls by optimizing resident care 

    ·       Ensuring that Business Office collects on all receivables

    ·       Following protocols required for successful survey's

    ·       Following all company policies and procedures

    ·       Representing the facility in dealings with outside agencies or internal management

    ·       Interpreting the facility’s policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members and visitors

    ·       Keeping updated on state and federal regulations as they pertain to skilled nursing

    ·       Conducting daily stand-up meeting

    ·       Attending meetings as required

    ·       Perform other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    ·       Minimum 1 - 2 years of previous experience as a Licensed Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator.

    ·       Has a valid Administrator’s license issued by the State’s governing Board.

    ·       Meets minimum education requirements of the State.

    ·       Demonstrates excellent observation, problem solving, verbal and written communication.

    ·       Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage staff's performance.
