Responsibilities: • Welcoming patients by answering phones and greeting them with a friendly attitude • Managing appointments efficiently by scheduling, changing, or canceling as needed • Assisting in maintaining patient flow and ensuring timely schedules • Conducting insurance verifications accurately • Recording patient information meticulously into the EMR system • Ensuring medical records are updated and precise • Reconciling daily charges and billings meticulously • Performing any additional tasks as required and assigned Qualifications: • Minimum requirement of 3 years of customer service experience specifically in the medical field is essential • Proficiency in both verbal and written communication is a must • Ability to comprehend simple healthcare terminology is necessary • Proficient in the use of computer software and technology • Familiarity with health insurance plans, benefits verification, and authorization is required • Strong skills in prioritizing work, multitasking, and critical thinking are essential • Demonstrated ability to stay organized and handle stressful situations calmly Compensation: $18 - $23 hourly
