We are on the lookout for a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to join us. Responsibilities: • Prepare examination rooms for patient appointments • Assist healthcare providers during medical procedures • Maintain accurate and legible patient records in compliance with state regulations • Clean and restock examination rooms • Sterilize medical equipment • Notify patients of lab results, imaging results, and medication refills • Coordinate patient care effectively • Participate in training and quality improvement activities • Ensure complete and accurate patient registration • Coordinate referrals and communicate details with patients • Assist patients with problem-solving related to healthcare system issues • Identify and utilize community resources for patient support • Ensure timely follow-up on referrals • Demonstrate integrity, leadership skills, and strong interpersonal skills • Perform other assigned duties Qualifications: • Proof of acceptable and appropriate training as deemed by the Medical Board of California • Exceptional human relations skills • Pediatric Experience • Ability and willingness to work with people regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disease state • Ability to maintain a friendly attitude with patients and staff, especially under pressure • Able to manage multiple priorities • Ability to speak, understand, write, and type English as well as having basic math and spelling skills • Experience a minimum of 3 years • Experience with ICD-10 codes and EMR System Compensation: $18 - $24 hourly
