Job Description

 Looking for one or more Communication Techs for work in the New Orleans area.  Some work may include driving to the Northshore or other local areas within one hour of the New Orleans metro area.  We are looking for experienced, respectful, self motivated, energetic and goal oriented people who take pride in doing a quality job.  Good customer service skills are a must.  We are willing to train employees who have the desire to learn and advance with both hands-on and classroom training programs.  This can include major certifications.  Most of our work will be dealing with Category type cabling such as Cat 5E, 6, and 6A along with several different types of Fiber Optic cabling.  We will also work with different types of cabling such as CATV, CCTV, Access Control, Intercom/Paging, Outside Plant cabling will also be a part of our work.  Work will be mostly in office spaces or on new construction  projects which will require the use of PPE.  Please understand this is a hands-on position and not a computer programming or IT job.  Experience in these fields or any other technology or special systems is a plus.  Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA, TWIC, or any manufacturers certifications in the industry are a plus but not a requirement.  Pay will be competitive and based on experience.  We also offer a full range of benefits which include health, dental, vision, life, cancer and disability.  Additionally, we have PTO, holiday pay and vacation pay along with company matching on 401k contributions.

Work schedule will be Mon - Fri with varying start times depending on the jobsite.
